There are many types of coking wastewater, which can be classified from the source of the wastewater, including water brought in by coking coal, water converted by direct steam during the recovery and refining process of coking products, water added by process media, washing dissolved salts, water brought in by adding dilute chemical agents, water added for cleaning process pipeline equipment, and water used for cleaning oil tankers. In terms of discharge methods, there are residual ammonia water separated from coke oven gas condensate, separation water from process media in coking product recovery and refining processes, and other wastewater that are difficult to treat industrial wastewater. At present, the technology for treating coking wastewater in China mainly adopts the biochemical method. The biochemical method has a good removal effect on phenolic and benzene substances in the wastewater, but the treatment effect on some difficult to degrade organic compounds such as quinolines, indoles, pyridines, carbazole, etc. is poor, making it difficult for the effluent CODcr of the coking industry to reach the first level standard.
The electrocatalytic titanium oxide anode produced by the company is used for the treatment of organic matter through various processes such as adsorption, surface catalysis, and oxidation-reduction, effectively reducing the CODcr of coking wastewater. By combining with biological methods, it can stabilize and improve the discharged water quality, and ultimately achieve the goal of reclaimed water reuse.
